In this lesson you will learn how to create fluid acrylic art in my new studio without using a single paint brush! This session is informal, fun and informative, teaching you new skills that you'll be able to use independently. The great thing about a one-to-one session is that we can move at your own pace, explaining things and breaking things down as needed, or moving faster if you're picking it up quickly. All materials are provided. Is this lesson for you? Yes! Whether you are already an experienced artist wanting to learn a new style of painting, or you have some experience in fluid art and want to learn new techniques or develop your skills further, or if you've never picked up a sketch book or paintbrush in your life before, this is absolutely for you. Fluid acrylics requires no previous drawing or painting experience. Do you think you don't have a creative bone in your body? Let me prove you wrong. What will you paint? There are a number of different fluid art techniques. In this session you will learn two techniques. The first is a swipe and the second is a blow out. Both techniques will be used to make a beautiful abstract floral piece of art. What will you learn? - how to prepare your canvas, - how to mix your paints and test them - what effects are created by different ingredients and how to achieve them - the basics of colour theory and composition, - how to layer your paints, - how to pour your paints correctly, - how to manipulate the paints to create the desired effects and lots more! What will you need? Just yourself and an enthusiasm to learn! All materials and light refreshments will be provided.
